Working Principle & Two Optional Feeding Modes
The VSI vertical shaft impact sand making machine is equipped with two feeding modes: full center feeding and center feeding with annular cascading feeding, allowing customers to choose the appropriate feeding way based on actual production requirements.
For full center feeding, materials go into the machine via the central feed hole, get fully accelerated and ejected from the launching opening. They first collide with freely falling rebounded materials, followed by continuous impact and rebound. After colliding with materials thrown out from the impeller runner, a dense continuous material curtain is formed, and the finished materials are finally discharged from the bottom outlet.
When adopting center feeding with annular cascading feeding, raw materials fall through annular holes and are split into two parts by the distributing tray. One part enters the high-speed rotating impeller through the tray, while the other falls from the periphery of the distributing tray. Materials inside the impeller are accelerated and thrown out to crush against the peripheral falling materials. All materials then hit the vortex lining or impact blocks, rebound to the top, collide once more with materials discharged from the impeller channels to form a continuous material curtain, and are eventually discharged from the bottom discharge port.
